It should be illegal to be up this early on a Saturday and not be watching cartoons.

I remember being up at like 6am as a kid, off to watch Mighty Orbots, Captain N, Kid Video, Dungeons & Dragons, and so on.

But now?  Now I'm monitoring reports for the accounting group.  And having to inform them that the reports are all messed up because of a file that's supposed to be automatically delivered and hasn't been.  And I have no idea how to fix this.  And I'm not sure calling the manager and/or director is ideal- I mean, the group isn't technically in till 9 am (yup, accountings' working our month-end close), but the reports take awhile to run.  Being the good cubicle drone that I am, I was up to watch them... fail.

Wonderful.  At least I'm getting some laundry done and listening to the rain.  There's that.

I don't even know what the current crop of Saturday morning cartoons is. :(

I completely understand. I'm afraid to look, to be honest- my best guess would be remnants of, say, Cartoon Network or something.

*goes to check*

Hmmm.. Spectacular Spider-Man, Zoids, Tom & Jerry, Biker Mice from Mars, TMNT, Emperor's New School, Sonic X... I've noted a disturbing number of non-animated shows (That's So Raven, Hannah Montana, Zack & Cody). I was right to think along the lines of Yu-Gi-Oh, though.

Earlier in the morning seems to be for the younger kids- Bob the Builder, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake.

That's just local broadcast, mind you- I'm guessing the cable channels have the better stuff.

One other thing- it looks like the cartoons don't even start til 7am... I remember being up at 6 to watch D&D, then Transformers...

Kids nowadays. ;)

Wait, there's a new Biker Mice from Mars? I thought that was from, like, the mid-90s!

I'm also surprised there's a Zoids series, but not as surprised as Biker Mice.

I think it's the older cartoon, just in syndication.

Weird, I didn't realize they used cartoons that far back.
