So, I'm waiting for some reports to run here, late at the office (yeah, I know 5:15's not that bad... but I got here prior to 7, so....).

Been reading up on some IGN.com previews of upcoming games.

I so want UFC'09 to be good. I really do.

I'm partial to Burnout Paradise, but that's because it's a low-stress game so you can just hoon around in flash cars and crash spectacularly without consequence. :D

I have Paradise... but... I don't know. It seems a little... tame... compared to the prior titles. Maybe I just haven't given it a fair shake.

I'm not a real computer gamer. I think the 'tameness' is a plus. :P

Although I'm a sucker for Champions. I don't suppose it'll have a single player mode? They'll probably try to emulate City of Heroes/Villains.

There's definitely a CoH/CoV vibe going on... but I don't know. By single player, do you mean offline? I think it's being touted as an MMO, so I'm not sure.

That'd be *awesome* if it did, though... and then be able to port your character between offline and online, complete with archnemesis, etc. :)
