How do you know your LJ friends?
Apr. 29th, 2008 03:24 pmThat's a bit of open ended question, but it was brought about by just kind of perusing my friends list.
Most of my LJ friends, I know from other forums/websites. I know only a handful of the others in person. Another (less than a) handful I know as 'LJ friend of an LJ friend', having added them after either seeing them enter one or more comment(s) of interest in a LJ friends' comment field, or seeing that "Hey, we have more than one mutual friend" if I'm curious as to who the person is.
It's not really the most efficient way to build what you might call a network (is that the right word for a group of LJ friends?), but at least it gives me interesting reading throughout the day. :)
