Kung Fu Goodness
Jan. 25th, 2008 08:49 amSo, Jackie Chan and Jet Li together on-screen for the first time ever in The Forbidden Kingdom.
I forsee it having subpar dialogue and acting, but kick-ass fight choreography. Which of course means I'll see it.
A friend mentioned that Tony Jaa is better than those two. And I agree- of the 'big names' in (still living) martial arts movie stars, I think I'd place him at the top (from what I've seen). However, the reason I think he's actually not in the film is because his presence, combined with the other two, would cause every screen (and later, TV) upon which the movie is played to explode into a cloud of pure nuclear awesome.
