My mother-in-law's birthday, bless her soul, is today. It's only been... just over 5 months since she passed away (on 9/11, no less).
My wife took the day off- I know this is hard on her. She's over at the church serving breakfast for the hypothermia shelter put in place for the local homeless folks. We've done it before, but she wanted to mark today by doing something she think her mom would have liked. I'd have joined her, but today is going to be a crazy day, I think.
Dinner tonight with my father- and brother-in-law; we're thinking Red Lobster, one of my mother-in-law's favorite places.
Rest in peace, Ellen Mory- we know a mother's love knows no bounds.
