I mean, I already knew that, but come on. Carly? Really? 

I can only imagine that there were enough mindless, no-taste, giggling adolescent schoolgirls to keep that faux-stoner with the dreads in the running- even Andrew Lloyd freakin'-Webber made it clear that his rendition of a broadway tune was in need of work. And while I liked Brooke, at this stage in the game, dropping your lyrics is inexcusable.  

I haven't been following this all that closely (not like I used to, anyways), but I had already picked favorites- Carly, and the rocker dude... David Cook, I think?  Both talented, but last night's decision is basically enough for me not to bother following at all anymore.

Besides, Dancing With the Stars is proving to be more entertaining.  I still think they need to start up Dancing With America- just pick random people, non-celebrities, and get them up there.  I'd do it.

She may have been your favourite, but she sure wasn't mine. We agree on Cook, he's remarkably talented. But not on Carly.

To me, her performances remained lacklustre, and her vocal never really impressed me in any of the shows I've seen. I don't suspect we'll come to agreement in that regard. =) (I've yet to watch the latest performance show, though.)

Agreed about the idea for Dancing with Random People. I'd totally sign up for the Danish version, myself. =)

It's funny- she and Cooke didn't impress me at first. Something about them just 'grew' on me. Brooke was actually my favorite 'out of the gate', but I see her the way you see Carly this far in. *shrug*

Carly was one of my favorites as well, and was my wife's favorite by far. I wasn't totally surprised by the result, but I cheat and check the predictions on dialidol.com.

I thought Jason was finally doomed as well, I really dislike the guy as a performer.

I believe Brooke was helped by being the votefortheworst.com candidate, otherwise she would have been at least bottom 2. (If you believe in their influence.)

David Cook is now my favorite by far. My only problem with him is that I sometimes get the impression he's a smarmy jerk.
