Got to game with my buddies on Saturday; turned out pretty well- we ended up working together as a 'team' in-character, which I think accelerated the pace of the game a bit more.

Rented a couple movies- I Could Never Be Your Woman (with Michelle Pfeifer, and... the dude who played "Mike", Phoebe's boyfriend on Friends). Funny flick, all told. Also watched Rendition, a movie about a guy who gets picked up by the CIA on his way home from Egypt, and flown to one of those 'secret prisons'. It also follows the impact on his family, how an idealist US agent gets involved, and other smaller plots. One of the special features on the DVD was a short called "Outlawed", with interviews with the German citzen (El-Masari?) who had been in the news sometime ago, and the family of a detainee at Guantanamo. It's pretty... stark... to think about.

Sunday, we got to see some friends and their new baby- got some work done around the house, and cleaning up files on the computer. Got a small bit of Xbox time in, and got a good night's sleep before hitting the gym this morning.

Crunches/ab work
3x12 bicep curls
3x12 chest press (free weights)

That actually worked out okay- kept me from getting bored, even if it might be less effective in the long run. I need to do *something* to convince me to keep at it; had the cholesterol talk with my doc again, and need to be working out 4 times a week, at least 1/2 hour at a time.
