... to find a new job.

It's not that I dislike my current job. I actually quite like it. I'm good at it. I get along with my teammates. I'm the go-to-guy on several key issues. The firm itself paid for the vast majority of my MBA, and offers some quite nice benefits.

But I think I've exhausted this particular position's capacity for growth, and, honestly, if we're going to have a family, there are certain realities to which I must adapt. And the jobs that are currently being offered internally are heavy on the UNIX/other application side, to which I've sadly had little to no exposure, or are otherwise outside the realm of my interest/experience. I have certain criteria that's fully fleshed out in my resume, but I figured that summarizing it here couldn't hurt.

Here's where you all come in. )

Any leads, ideas, word of mouth in your own organizations, or those that come to mind (I'm already working the internet and newspapers), would be greatly appreciated.

(Seen elsewhere on LJ... can't recall where)

Because we never really know each other as well as we think, in response to this post I'd like you to ask a question. Anything about which you are curious, anything you feel you ought to know about me. Silly, serious, personal, fannish. Ask away. Then copy this to your own journal, and see what people don't know about you.
